Laser acupuncture

Laser acupuncture is a relatively new method which combines the principles of acupuncture with modern technology of laser. Its use is now widespread in almost every medical speciality.
Laser acupuncture is a form of acupuncture stimulation which is a safe and effective alternative to standard acupuncture treatment. As it is an absolutely painless method, it is in particular highly suitable for children and hypersensitive patients who simply dislike the idea of being stitched by needles.

This method is proven to be very efficient and evidently enhances the healing process with regard to tissue as it has an anti-inflammatory effect. Biologically, the laser bio-stiumulation  increases the cell production in the tissue, improves circulation, increases cellular metabolism and speeds the repair process.
Instead of a needle, the respective acu-points are stimulated by a laser beam (low energy density, wave lengths in the red-beam or infrared-beam range).

Studies demonstrate that this laser therapy has a high success rate (e.g. studies by Professor Dr. G. Litscher as well as various research projects of the German Association of Acupuncture).
